Last night I learned I'm on an "Up two or three days" phase. I either am awake for 6 hours before crashing, can't sleep for two or three days and feel fine, sleep for 13+ hours in a row (Longest record so far is a painful 26), often wake up with amnesia or hallucinations, or rarely - ever so rarely - have a perfectly normal sleep schedule for like. ![]() Sometime soon my primary said that we might have to "start trying the harder things".Īnyways, my sleep schedule sucks. I have seen sleep doctors, done sleep studies, no meds seem to help much more than melatonin. Okay so like, a couple years ago I worked overnights. Feel free to contact me with questions regarding our small city. Thank you for reaching out to me and bringing this back to my attention. This could possibly be incorporated into a festivity. My city clerk has always wanted to have a zombie walk in Muldraugh. Perhaps they can hold a festivity that evolves around the game that will invite the gamers to visit our community. I am finishing up my term at the end of December, but I will pass this information along to the city council. At that time, we looked into it but didn’t give it a lot of thought. We were told of Muldraugh’ s presence in the game, a few years back, from a local news reporter. Have you heard of it before? Am I not the first to email you, or have you met any tourists whom have come because of the game? I'm curious to know!Ĭaroline Cline AM (15 minutes ago) to me Given that players of the game have grown quite fond of the place, I began to wonder if it's residents knew of how much internet popularity they have gained from this sudden cult-classic zombie game. When asked why here specifically, the developers stated that the town's size made it a good area to begin with, it's unique siding against Dixie Highway made it memorable, and it's proximity to Louisville (another popular location for zombie-based-media) was ideal. I know for a fact that a few people have even traveled to Muldraugh as tourists because of the game. The game has reached quite an audience, selling between 4 to 6 million copies. While large parts of this map are fictional, the game developers specifically followed Google Maps views of Muldraugh and West Point, and kept much of the landscape as untouched as possible. In the game, Muldraugh is the default (and center) of a large map encompassing an area covering the southern tip of Louisville, near Orell, to about Hog Wallow. I hope this is not a bothersome question, but I was curious to know if you were aware of Muldraugh's prominence in a popular zombie-themed video game, known as "Project Zomboid".
